Girl with chocolate is one of the most famous pastel paintings of Swiss artist Jean-Étienne Liotard. His friend Pierre-Jean Mariette later wrote: "I bought a pastel painting with one young German maid, who brings on a platter a glass of water and a cup of chocolate. The picture has almost no shadows. An amazing detail is the glass reflecting the light. Despite the fact that this is a European image, it would due to the absence of shadows impress the Chinese people, who as we know do not like shades on paintings".

Liotard painted picture Girl with chocolate in 1743-44. Prevailing color of this fine art print is brown and its shape is portrait. This art piece is located in Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, Dresden. This image is printed on demand - you can choose material, size and finishing.
