Date: 19th century

The painting depicts a landscape with bright colours and free brushstrokes, which are typical of the Impressionist style of painting. We see a spacious scene with a grassy field, where there are several figures, probably working in the field. The field is surrounded by green trees and there is a faintly visible area in the background that appears to be a settlement or farm, with a more prominent tree figure on the right edge. The sky is rendered in light shades of blue and white.
